Here's one I've had on the back burner for some time. Was quite a challenge as i struggled to get a good rough sea out of Vue, but finally got it. The froth in the ocean is matte'd in. Sort of a city in a hundred years provided human growth and development continue unabated. This was rendered in Vue but all city lights, haze, details, smoke, and depth of field were added in post using Photoshop.

This is probably the most diverse I've made a project. The stone face is actually from a face i created in zbrush a few months ago, environment done in vue - composited in Photoshop and all washed with my brushes enhancing some of the lighting and details... figure in the foreground is poser but with drawn hair, tattoos, jewelry and gear. some of the fire effects come from Particle Illusion... definitely going for an illustrated look.
